Albert Einstein was born on 14 March 1879 at 11:30 in Ulm, Germany. During his life he held dual nationality several times and was successively or simultaneously German, stateless, Swiss, Austrian and American. He graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and then turned to research in physics. He barely graduated in 1900 and and received his doctorate on 15 January 1906. On 9 July 1909, Albert Einstein was promoted to doctor honoris causa by the University of Geneva in Switzerland at 30 years. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics of 1921. He is known for his famous formula E = MC2, which allows to calculate energy in relation to mass and kinetics. He developed the theory of relativity, the theory of gravitation and was largely involved in research into quantum mechanics and cosmology.
