Adolf Hitler was born on 20 April 1889 in Braunau, Austria. He discovered his artistic vocation as a painter. Hitler twice failed at the Fine Arts Academy in Vienna. He twice flunked for the admission, the second time on 8 October 1908. He lived several years painting watercolors for shopkeepers. He painted about 2000 of them.
