On 6 September 1901, William McKinley is assassinated in New York during his visit at the Buffalo Pan-American Exposition. An anarchist shot him twice in the chest. He died eight days later, on 14 September at 58 years old. His office started on 4 March 1897 as twenty-fifth US President. He just began his second mandate on 4 March 1901. This tragic event took place during the period Mars-Jupiter (from 3 October 1900 to 3 October 1901).
